About Mikayla

Mikayla Morell is a health writer, fiction writer, and poet based in Philadelphia, PA.
She received her BFA in Creative Writing from the University of the Arts where she was the recipient of the Aidan Doyle Memorial Scholarship and the Creative Writing Award in Fiction.
She was also a scholarship recipient for the Juniper Summer Writing Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Her senior theses in poetry (Poems from the NonPlace) and fiction (Disembodied) are available for purchase.
She currently works as a health content writer.
